My mission is to work with students regardless of location to improve skills, develop critical thinking, build confidence, and foster independent learning.

It is important to engage, support, and challenge students of different abilities to ensure they demonstrate understanding through multiple representations.
Work with student and school learning management systems to identify, plan, execute, and evaluate accommodations for special services and gifted students.
I stay current with industry practices and professionals to afford exposure to research-backed methods, tools, and studies to use in the virtual classroom.
No two students or sessions are identical, lessons are specific to individual student needs and goals.
Face-to-face and remote sessions are planned and executed with online interface, support, practice, and feedback.
An interactive learning partnership starts with open communication and grows with ongoing support.
You post current homework, study guides, quizzes and tests. I post session access links, helpful resources, videos, worked-out examples, tips, and general success aids.
We use Desmos, Google, and phone calculators to build number sense, YouTube to foster independent learning through clear trusted sources, and various other applications, sites and resources to help illustrate, practice, and assess concepts.
